We are looking for a full-time CPA student to join our team.  The successful candidate will assist with preparing individual and corporate tax returns, performing bookkeeping tasks, and supporting senior staff in a variety of accounting and tax projects.

We are looking for a full-time CPA student to join our team.  The successful candidate will assist with preparing individual and corporate tax returns, performing bookkeeping tasks, and supporting senior staff in a variety of accounting and tax projects.

Our office is a pre-approved training program office so the successful candidate would be able to complete their CPA schooling and training with our firm.


Key Responsibilities

-    Prepare personal and corporate tax returns, GST, etc.
-    Assist in preparing financial statements
-    Perform bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software
-    Support senior accountants with compilation year-end engagements
-    Support senior accountants with audits and reviews

Qualifications

-    Degree in Commerce or Finance (or currently in progress)
-    At least 1 year of experience in accounting and tax preparation
-    Familiarity with tax software and accounting systems
-    Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
-    Good verbal and written communication skills
-    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
