We are hiring a Community Services Worker in North Battleford to provide meaningful support that enhances inclusion and quality of life. We seek an energetic, empathetic professional committed to empowering individuals and families. The role involves managing a caseload, conducting assessments, planning programs, counselling, referrals, crisis intervention, and monitoring service providers while promoting community education and inclusion. A Bachelor of Social Work or Indigenous Social Work and related experience is required, along with a valid drivers license for travel. Knowledge of social work principles, intervention strategies, multicultural perspectives, and social issues such as poverty and diversity is essential. Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy, including Saskatchewan Assistance Act and related programs, is required. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, demonstrates respect, and communicates effectively. Strong interviewing, risk assessment, and case management skills are critical, as is the ability to work independently and balance time-sensitive demands. Responsibilities include applying social work methods, resolving case issues, supervising new staff or students, and ensuring compliance with standards.
