AcuFast is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time Swine Technician (Genetic Production Tech) position in our production facilities based in the Spiritwood location.

-Monitor and maintain proper feed, water, and ventilation systems,
-Follow proper animal handling guidelines,
-Perform minor maintenance tasks,
-Power wash empty pens and prep rooms for animal entry,
-Keep accurate records on all animals as requested,
-Work safely and follow biosecurity protocols while performing all job duties,
-Assist with cleaning, repairing, and setting up the nursery and finisher rooms,
Perform other general farm duties as required.
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
-Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player
-Strong organization and communication skills with attention to detail;
-Able to manage priorities and solve problems
-Share in AcuFast core values
-Drivers license;
-Foreign recruits are required to have an IELTS score of at least 4 in all sections of the General Module Test,
