We are seeking two reliable, security/safety-conscious individuals to provide after-hours maintenance support across our housing portfolio. These positions are responsible for responding to after-hours maintenance calls, conducting perimeter and security checks for multi-dwelling buildings, and completing general maintenance duties as assigned. Ideal candidates are dependable, responsive, and able to work independently outside of regular business hours.

Respond promptly to after-hours
We are seeking two reliable, security/safety-conscious individuals to provide after-hours maintenance support across our housing portfolio. These positions are responsible for responding to after-hours maintenance calls, conducting perimeter and security checks for multi-dwelling buildings, and completing general maintenance duties as assigned. Ideal candidates are dependable, responsive, and able to work independently outside of regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to after-hours maintenance and emergency calls.
Assess maintenance issues and take appropriate action to ensure resident safety and reduce property damage.
Address urgent issues such as leaks, heating concerns, power outages, lock issues, or safety hazards when possible.
Escalate major or unresolved issues to management as required.
Perimeter & Security Checks:
Conduct perimeter and common-area checks of multi-dwelling buildings.
Ensure exterior doors, gates, lighting, and shared spaces are secure and functioning properly.
Identify and report safety hazards, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
Maintenance Duties
Perform basic repairs and minor maintenance tasks
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Maintain accurate records of calls responded to, work completed, and issues identified.
Qualifications & Skills
Maintenance, construction, or a related experience is an asset.
Ability to work independently and make decisions during after-hours situations.
Strong problem-solving and observational skills.
Comfortable working evenings, nights, weekends, and being on-call.
Physically able to walk properties, climb stairs, and perform light to moderate physical tasks.
All other duties as assigned.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (required).
