-To recruit, select, train, and support First Nations foster care homes within Montreal Lake 106A and Little Red 106B.

-Recruit, select, train, and support caregivers and families
-Be knowledgeable in all the training required of a caregiver (27-hour PRIDE, 6-hour FASD, 3-hour Aboriginal component, 16-hour First Aid/CPR)
-Develop and deliver thorough orientation and training packages for foster parents reflective of First Nations traditions, values, beliefs, and customs
-Work effectively and positively to support regional directions that continuously improve or enhance service delivery to children and their families
-Ensure consistent adherence to MLCFA Inc. protocol for placement of children in foster care homes
-Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of each foster care placement
-Provide support for the caregiver to develop planning in children's best interests and work to establish the supports required
-Monitor child placements and provide support, advice, and resources to caregivers as needed
-Provide support and one counselling services to children placed in foster homes
-Address concerns of caregivers and advocate for them when needed
-Receive and forward financial requests from caregivers to the necessary departments
