South East Eyecare Ltd. is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented individual to join our busy optometric practice and dispensary as a vision therapy assistant.  

As vision therapy assistant you will work closely with the optometrist and vision therapist to plan and facilitate vision therapy sessions for patients and prepare reports from the sessions for the optometrist.  Other duties would also include pretesting patients,

South East Eyecare Ltd. is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented individual to join our busy optometric practice and dispensary as a vision therapy assistant.  

As vision therapy assistant you will work closely with the optometrist and vision therapist to plan and facilitate vision therapy sessions for patients and prepare reports from the sessions for the optometrist.  Other duties would also include pretesting patients, booking and confirming appointments, taking payments and issuing receipts, and working closely with other staff members to ensure patient care.  

You must possess a willingness to learn additional duties and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  You must possess the ability to work with the public in a courteous and professional manner.  Proficient computer skills and experience working with elementary-aged school children assets.  South East Eyecare offers competitive wages, a RRSP Plan and health benefits.

Education: Grade 12 or post-secondary
Experience: Optometric and reception experience preferred or the ability and interest to learn.
