Job Description
Right Choice Energy Services (RCESI) is accepting applications for a Picker Truck Operator based out of our Moose Jaw, SK location. Picker Truck Operators are expected to have thorough knowledge of the oil & gas industry with facility experience. Reporting to the shop/site Supervisor(s), responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Picker Truck Operators are expected to have thorough knowledge of the oil & gas industry with facility experience. Reporting to the shop/site Supervisor(s), responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Reporting fit for duty at the onset of each shift
Complete logbooks/inspections daily as equipment is utilized
Complete required daily maintenance and troubleshoot any equipment issues, reporting major maintenance requirements to supervisor for immediate action
Ensure all tools and equipment are kept clean and tidy
Operate equipment in compliance with RCESIs safety policies and procedures, as well as in compliance with any client or site-specific requirements
Competently rig materials for lifting and installations and competently signal lfting equipment
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers, ensuring equipment is tied down as per regulatory legislation
Coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy sites.
Ability to understand client requirements, interpret drawings, rig and install structural, utilize torqueing equipment, and measure, cut, thread, assemble, install, and test piping systems
Other duties as required
The ideal candidate will:
2+ years industry-related picker truck operating experience
Be able to demonstrate competency in operating equipment
Have a good working knowledge of multidiscipline activities (civil, structural, piping)
Be capable of performing the physical requirements of the job, including lifting greater than 40lbs and demonstrating worksite mobility
Willing to work extended hours/weekends as required
All applicants must be willing to travel throughout southern Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba and hold a valid and clean drivers license with a 5G endorsement
This position is safety-sensitive; a pre-employment D & A test is required prior to hire.
