Key Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Administration
Supervise, mentor and lead program managers, administrative support staff and office assistants.
Assign and delegate daily tasks to the team, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
Approve employee timesheets and attendance records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to policy.
Financial & Office Operations
Receive and review financial requests such as purchase requisitions, expense reports and vendor invoices; forward these to appropriate leadership or finance department for approval.
Monitor office budgets, track expenditures, maintain records of office supplies, equipment and vendor contracts.
Oversee vendor relations, negotiate service agreements, and manage procurement of office materials and services.
Office Systems & Environment
Ensure that office operations, policies and procedures are up-to-date, documented and consistently followed.
Manage office facilities ensure equipment, workstations and the physical environment are maintained, organized and safe.
Qualifications & Skills
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Human Resources or related field preferred; equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
