Job Description
We are seeking an individual for the Survey Technologist position.
The primary function is to work under the direction of the Civil Engineer Supervisor to conduct surveying.
Tasks include:
-Conducting topographical surveys and establish check stations for future sit layout and machine control references.
-Monitor check stations for any drift and discrepancy throughout the duration of the project.
-Conduct stockpile surveys.
-Establish alignments, grades
We are seeking an individual for the Survey Technologist position.

Tasks include:
-Conducting topographical surveys and establish check stations for future sit layout and machine control references.
-Monitor check stations for any drift and discrepancy throughout the duration of the project.
-Conduct stockpile surveys.
-Establish alignments, grades and elevation for site layouts.
-Implement and coordinate layout changes with crew supervisors.
-Coordinate with Engineering for any discrepancies regarding the design and site discrepancies if any.
Requirements:
-Civil Engineering background is an asset.
-Knowledge in topographical surveys using GPS.
-Well versed in establishing elevations manually using laser level and stadia/leveling rod.
-Good grasp of trigonometric and Geometric concepts.
-Knowledge in Machine control and CAD is an asset.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Willing to work long hours with minimal supervision.
-Will be required to work overtime.
-Valid Driver's License.
-Expected to be in attendance everyday, Monday-Friday and possibility of weekends.
Our positions are full-time, 5 days per week and seasonal. Candidates may be subject to drug testing.
