The Indigenous Birth Support Worker provides culturally safe, trauma-informed, and community-based perinatal support to Indigenous families living in an urban setting. This role supports Indigenous parents throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period by offering emotional, informational, advocacy, and cultural support within hospitals, clinics, homes, and community spaces.
