Working under the general guidance of the Recreation & Community Development Manager, this temporary, parttime position is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering community programs and events.

Working under the general guidance of the Recreation & Community Development Manager, this temporary, parttime position is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering community programs and events.

This position will:

- Plan, coordinate, and deliver Townrun recreation programs and community events.
- Research, develop, and assist with grant applications for recreation and community initiatives.
- Work with community members, agencies, and resident-led groups to develop and implement programs, promotional initiatives, and community development activities.
- Create administrative materials such as documents, forms, spreadsheets, marketing content, and promotional materials.
- Support communication channels, including social media updates, website content, and the municipal alert system, as required.
- Collect data and prepare reports on program statistics and service evaluations.
- Provide frontline support to residents and community groups, helping connect them with programs, facilities, and available resources.
- Represent the Town professionally when engaging with the public, partners, and community organizations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Recreation & Community Development Manager.

This part-time position will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on programming needs.
