Position Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including labour relations, recruitment. Employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role.

Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including labour relations, recruitment. Employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, policy development, benefits administration, and employee records management
Serve as primary contact for union relations, including collective agreement administration, negotiations, grievance management, and arbitration representation as required
Advise and support managers in performance management, progressive discipline, and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices
Collaborate with the Finance Manager to coordinate payroll for up to 100 employees; process ROEs and manage WCB and leave administration
Develop and maintain an organization-wide training and development plan aligned with operational needs
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, HR, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including labour relations
Experience in a unionized environment is preferred
CPHR designation (or actively pursuing) is considered an asset
Strong knowledge of employment standards and labour legislation
