Responsibilities:
Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
dental treatment room cleaning, disinfection, set-up and shut-down.
safe transport of dirty instruments from the treatment rooms to the sterilization area.
Disinfection, cleaning, packaging, labelling and sterilizing reusable dental instruments and devices.
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as hydrim, ultrasonic cleaners and steam autoclave.
Clean and disinfect trays, laundry, supplies, instrumentation and equipment for re-use according to standardized safety practices
Sterilization assurance monitoring and documentation including mechanical, chemical and biological.
Re-assemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to dental treatment rooms.
General cleaning and maintenance of dental equipment and light office cleaning and stocking duties.
