Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain paper cutting machines.
Accurately cut printed materials according to job specifications and customer requirements.
Perform quality checks to ensure cuts are precise and meet standards.
Load and unload trucks, receive deliveries, and stage materials for production.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the cutting equipment.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with the printing and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating paper cutting machines in a printing environment.
Valid forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain one).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and specifications.
Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and handle heavy paper stacks, materials, and deliveries.
