KCDAs Northern Career Program provides services to residents of northern Saskatchewan who are seeking employment and/or training and education. We also work with employers to help recruit northern residents for their job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Support job seekers with resumes, applications, interviews, and career planning
Deliver workshops in communities and online for post-secondary classes and other groups
Visit employers to identify HR needs and promote the Northern Talent Pool
Support youth and younger workers entering the labour market
Assist with organizing and participate in career fairs
Build relationships with communities, schools, and employers
Qualifications
Experience in career development, community services, education, or similar
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable traveling to Northern communities
Computer/technology skills
Valid drivers licence
Post Secondary Education Certificate or equivalent experience
