The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for casual Pool Attendant positions within the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. These positions will be utilized primarilyat the Kinsmen Water Park during the summer season however shifts will be available at the Lake Country Coop Leisure Centre as well. The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for casual Pool Attendant positions within the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. These positions will be utilized primarilyat the Kinsmen Water Park during the summer season however shifts will be available at the Lake Country Coop Leisure Centre as well. The Kinsmen Water Park operates from June 1 to August 28; however, successful candidates will be required earlier for training and orientation.
Pool Attendants are responsible for monitoring designated areas within the aquatic facility, such as change rooms and water slide entry points, to ensure adherence to rules, procedures, and safety regulations.
This position requires working in an outdoor aquatic environment, including prolonged standing and walking, exposure to sun, heat, wind, and varying weather conditions, and remaining alert in a busy, high-energy setting. Pool Attendants must be able to respond quickly to changing situations and maintain focus throughout their shift.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum age 14
If under 16:
-provide a note of parental consent to be employed
-Obtain a Young Workers Readiness Certificate prior to commencing work
Ability to swim 400 meters in a reasonable time
Required to obtain the following certifications within the probation period
Standard First Aid with CPR C
Bronze Cross
