Position Summary

In this role, youll deliver expert financial analysis, forecasting, costing, and decision support for operational areas across the City. Youll help shape the annual budget, ensure financial accuracy, assess the impact of new initiatives, and support compliance with policies and legislationall while building strong, collaborative relationships. This position reports to the Financial Business Partner.
What You Bring
- Degree in Administration or Commerce plus a CPA designation
- 46 years of experience in a computerized accounting environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and municipal financial practices
- Ability to analyze and interpret operational and management financial information
- Skill in financial systems, policy application, and process improvement
- Strong judgment, initiative, and independence
- Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding abilities
