WBEC is seeking a responsible and community-minded substitute teacher to support students to and from school each day safely. This role is vital to supporting student success, ensuring
children arrive on time, ready to learn, and return home safely.
The Candidate must possess the following skills:
a) Knowledge of First Nations education, curriculum integration, methodology, and
resources.
b) Have, or can obtain, an authorization to teach from the Saskatchewan Professional
Teachers Regulatory Board.
c) Must demonstrate successful experience as a classroom teacher.
d) Have an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom.
e) Illustrate a desire to be part of a collaborative educational team.
f) Ability to work effectively within an environment, which includes developing
meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents/caregivers/significant
adults, professionals, and community service agencies
