Leading Thunderbird Lodge is a residential youth treatment facility located at Fort San, SK in the QuAppelle Valley. Leading Thunderbird Lodge offers a 12-week holistic and culturally based addiction and mental health treatment program for Indigenous male youth between the ages of 12-17 years. Leading Thunderbird Lodge is looking to hire a self-motivated Custodian to join their team.  
POSITION DESCRIPTION
    Daily cleaning

Leading Thunderbird Lodge is a residential youth treatment facility located at Fort San, SK in the QuAppelle Valley. Leading Thunderbird Lodge offers a 12-week holistic and culturally based addiction and mental health treatment program for Indigenous male youth between the ages of 12-17 years. Leading Thunderbird Lodge is looking to hire a self-motivated Custodian to join their team.  
POSITION DESCRIPTION
    Daily cleaning of washrooms and common areas
    Daily emptying of garbage throughout the facility
    Daily sanitization of door handles, light switches and high touch areas
    Daily floor dry mopping as necessary and wet mopping where required
    Weekly wet mopping of floors and buffing where required
    Ordering of products and maintenance of inventory
    Stripping and waxing of floors in between intakes
    Window cleaning as required
    Dusting as required
    Laundry as required
    Cleaning of suites before/after use by guests

QUALIFICATIONS
    Grade 12 or equivalent
    Must be in good physical condition and able bodied
    Knowledge of experience utilizing cleaning machinery (floor cleaners, buffing)
    Valid Drivers License
    Understanding of First Nations culture an asset
    Computer skills would be an asset
    WHMIS, First Aid/CPR/AED, ASIST, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Safe Food Handling training would be an asset
    Applicants must also lead an addictions free lifestyle in promoting personal wellness
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with youth
