Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic equipment, including radio receiver and transceiver units, pagers, cell-phone boosters, accessories, coaxial cable, and test equipment.

Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic equipment, including radio receiver and transceiver units, pagers, cell-phone boosters, accessories, coaxial cable, and test equipment.
Program radio equipment for the sales and service department, and design and build various hardware to perform this function.
Install communications equipment in shop and field environments, as well as in buildings and various kinds of vehicles (e.g. Police automobiles,emergency vehicles,buses,trucks,etc.).
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all customer and/or company owned wide area systems.
Provide internal advice on technical matters concerning radio and test equipment to the sales and service departments.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Telecommunications, RF Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
35 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience with two-way radios, antennas, coax, and RF equipment is an asset.
Mechanically inclined; able to use hand and power tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Valid Class 5 drivers licence and acceptable drivers abstract.
Valid passport for occasional training travel.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Must comply with customer-required drug and alcohol testing.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
