RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with the operation of the Branch, including staff supervision, scheduling, sales, customer services, inventories and budgets.
Provide a high level of customer service and sales of Building Material products, Hardware, Agriculture, C-Store, Grocery, Liquor and Dispensing Petroleum Products.
Assist with customer service and sales of merchandise, stock shelves, coolers and general housekeeping duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be knowledgeable about products and services offered by Pioneer Co-op, answering questions, problem solving and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with receiving, pricing and displaying merchandise and deliveries as required.
Pick and prepare customer orders, taking payments/ cash register operation, receiving and invoicing, inventory counts and control processes.
Operate a forklift as required with certification

REQUIREMENTS
Must have strong supervision, communication, merchandising and marketing skills. Previous retail experience in Agro, Grocery, Liquor, Hardware or Gas Bar considered an asset. Must be organized, efficient and able to work at a quick pace in a busy team environment. Must enjoy working with people. Must obtain TDG, WHMIS, Forklift & Propane Certificates once hired, as a condition of employment. This position involves heavy lifting and requires a valid class 5 Drivers license or higher. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol and Substance Policy. Must be available for a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
