We are seeking a confident and experienced rural nurse leader to serve as the Acute Care Unit Coordinator  NURSE B to provide clinical leadership and operational coordination for our inpatient and emergency services.

This role is ideal for a clinically strong and experienced RN who thrives in rural practice, values autonomy, and is ready to lead both people and systems in a dynamic rural acute care setting.
Reporting to the Director of Acute & Clinical Services, the role blends hands-on clinical practice with strategic leadership. In this position you will:
Role model to the acute care team to understand and fulfill the strategic mission, vision, and values of ANHH and the File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council (FHQTC).
Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a high functioning multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, high-quality, and wholistic care.
Coordinate daily operations to ensure effective patient flow, staffing optimization, and continuity of care from admission to discharge.
Provide direct patient care as required in complex care situations, including participating in daily physician rounds and patient/family conferences.
Strengthen clinical excellence and resilience through mentorship, coaching, professional development, policy implementation, and innovative initiatives.

Brings strong acute care and emergency nursing experience.
Understands the realities and rewards of rural healthcare delivery and demonstrates adaptability.
Is committed to Indigenous health equity and community-centered care.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Minimum 3-5 years of rural acute care nursing experience is preferred.
Previous leadership, supervisory experience or training considered an asset.
Openness to Indigenous worldviews and traditional healing practices is strongly valued.
