Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the engineering team on R&D projects, product improvements, drawings & documentation, and testing. Primary focus will be assisting with air seeder prototype testing, documentation, and data collection.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist engineering team with the assembly and testing of new prototypes.
- Assist with development of test procedures, documentation, and data collection.
- Create/Update engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.

- Assist with development of test procedures, documentation, and data collection.
- Create/Update engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Crete/Update engineering bill of materials (BOMs) and assembly documentation.
- Support the engineering department as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary program working towards a bachelors degree or masters in mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel is required.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong mechanical background and familiarity with farm equipment and farming operations.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and schedules.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Agriculture machine manufacturing facility.
- Agriculture field test sites.
