We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity & profit.
We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working experienced service technician in our Yorkton plant. We strive to offer a supportive and nurturing environment that helps our employees expand their careers and reach their highest potential.
Responsibilities:
-Install, calibrate, modify, maintain, troubleshoot & repair CNC machines & test for proper operation
-Read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic & parts diagrams
-Assist with the preventative maintenance program to ensure production downtime is minimized for approximately 20 diverse types of production equipment
-Order parts
-Learn independently by studying manuals & machinery you are exposed to
-Monitor automated system machine performance
-Provide detailed & accurate service reports and documentation
Skills/Requirements:
-Previous experience with CNC machines & automation required
-Must have high mechanical aptitude, able to identify mechanical problems & take apart & rebuild assemblies
-Post-secondary education in a related field
-Demonstrated experience in a maintenance field with good working experience in mechanical & electrical repairs
-Efficient multi-tasking & time management in fast-paced environment
-Proficient in project planning to ensure timely completion of assignments
-Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal & problem-solving skills
-Familiar with Microsoft Office software
-CNC programming, fabrication, welding or CAD design experience considerable assets
