Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. are seeking for an individual for Intake & Investigations, The Intake & Investigations Worker will report directly to the Intake & Investigations Supervisor.
The Intake & investigations Worker is responsible to oversee and respond to all allegations of maltreatment of children, with the aid of SDM, this position collaborates with the Intake Investigations Supervisor, Program Supervisors and Child and Family services Workers. The Intake and Investigations Worker will report and coordinate an investigative approach with the proper authorities. he Intake Investigation Worker will oversee and sign off the investigations for the protection of Child (ren). The unit must observe in person interviews conducted by Police and appropriately ascertaining the facts which may result in placing he child(ren) In a place of safety. This position performs intake processes and accurately records documentation requirements according to Touchwood Child & Family services Inc policies and procedures and protocols as well as the Provincial Child Abuse Protocol, other duties my include preparing court documents and attending court proceedings.
