Responsibilities: Housing Support Workers are members of the Homeward Bound Oakdale team and work together to provide housing support for clients in a flexible, compassionate, and responsible manner.

Qualifications:

Experience in human services, supported housing, or with persons with disabilities/addictions;
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture;
Must pass criminal record check and vulnerable sector check;
MUST HAVE: Class 5 Driver's License; Candidates without a Class

Remuneration: $23.08 per hour.
Duties:
Be available to respond to client needs and requests where reasonable in a friendly and courteous manner;
Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all unusual occurrences or suspicious activities;
Respond to accidents, contact EMS, or administer first aid/CPR as required;
Notify appropriate individuals (on-call staff, Supervisor, Manager) and/or Authorities in the event of accidents, or other critical incidents;
Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports, and complete other program documents (including case notes, statistics, letters, etc.);
Transport clients in accordance with established client transportation policies/protocols;
Provide culturally sensitive outreach, case management, and other needed services to clients;
Checks of client apartments and support clients needs according to their individual case plans;
Meal preparation as required;
Must work respectfully within a diverse environment and respect confidentiality;
