Southeast Regional Library is seeking a Branch Assistant to work at the Broadview, Grenfell and Whitewood Public Library Branches. This is a casual position offering approximately 12 - 15 hours work per month. There is opportunity to work more shifts at additional locations as well.

Branch Assistants support the branch librarian in the operation of the local library branch.  They implement current information technology in all aspects of their work including circulation functions, record-keeping, reporting, and communications. They circulate library materials and maintain appropriate records. They assist patrons in finding resources/information.  They receive direction and training from the branch librarian and work with considerable independence.
