Wynyard Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to support patient-focused care and daily pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
-Support pharmacists and technicians with prescription entry, labelling, packaging, and medication preparation
-Greet customers and handle phone inquiries professionally
-Manage inventory: receive shipments, stock, rotate, and assist with audits
-Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy; handle waste disposal per regulations
-Perform clerical tasks (filing, faxing, scanning) and assist with insurance

-Assist with general pharmacy operations as needed
Qualifications:
-Pharmacy Assistant program and/or pharmacy experience (assets; training provided)
-Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
-Basic Microsoft Office skills; Kroll experience an asset (training provided)
-Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes
-Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays as needed)
Schedule:
-Full-time (40 hours/week). Store hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-Shifts are 8 hours, with work required every third Saturday.
