Saskatoon Public Schools is the largest school division in Saskatchewan, serving nearly 29,000 students with the support of more than 3,300 dedicated professional and support staff. Our division includes 48 elementary schools and 10 secondary schools, including a flexible learning program for artists and athletes, and a unique partnership school Charles Red Hawk Elementary School located on Whitecap Dakota Nation.

Saskatoon Public Schools has an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting the daily operations of both secondary and elementary schools by providing a variety of secretarial duties. Substitute Secretary positions within Saskatoon Public Schools are well suited to individuals who are looking for opportunities to apply their secretarial knowledge and skills at a school level while maintaining a flexible schedule. Secretaries perform word processing tasks with a variety of Microsoft Office products, general reception duties, filing, mail distribution, photocopying, basic accounting, and other related secretarial duties.
Applicants are required to have a Grade 12 or equivalent standing, plus the successful completion of one year of post-secondary education in business education. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Computerized accounting experience will be considered an asset. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
