The Rural Municipality of Nipawin No. 487 is seeking two Seasonal Tractor/Mower Operators. The primary responsibility of this position is the safe and efficient operation of a tractor with mower attachment for roadside and municipal property vegetation control.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a tractor with mower attachment for roadside ditch mowing and vegetation management
Safely operate an 18-speed tractor-trailer unit, as required
Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs
Adjust and maintain mower equipment to ensure safe and effective operation
Identify and report hazards, obstructions, or maintenance concerns along roadways
Assist with the operation of other equipment (tractor, backhoe, loader) as required

Qualifications:
Experience operating tractors and mower attachments is preferred
Experience with roadside mowing or agricultural equipment is an asset
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance
Strong awareness of safety practices when working along roadways
Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions
Class 1A license is considered an asset
