Job Description
Under the direction and supervision of the Food Services Manager, the Cook position is responsible for the preparation and service of healthy and nutritional meals and snacks for the residents and staff.
A clean, sanitary, orderly and safe environment must be created and maintained for food preparation.

A clean, sanitary, orderly and safe environment must be created and maintained for food preparation.
The Cook position must strive to maintain a home-like environment for the residents by respecting the individual needs of each resident in a manner which is consistent with the Philosophy of Good Shepherd Villa.
Must be able to do the following:
-Ability to work independently.
-Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
-Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and restructure routines when necessary, in order to complete all work required during a specific time frame.
-Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide continuity of service from shift to shift and day to day.
- Must be willing and able to work Any all shifts(Days, Evenings, Weekends, STAT, Holidays)
