Job Description
The Health Services Manager oversees the administrative and operational functions of the Health Department. Responsibilities include managing staff, budgets, and resources; ensuring compliance with federal and provincial health standards; and leading the planning, coordination, and evaluation of programs and services to support community wellness. Reports to the Executive Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring optimal level of client care.

Reports to the Executive Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring optimal level of client care.
Facilitation and implementation of Quality Improvement Plan and of Risk Management Plan.
Manage programs and services to ensure the delivery of adequate community-based health services
Able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals and professional groups.
Capable of making tough decisions on funding allocations and staffing.
Assist in accessing funding for treatment and community wellness programs, if necessary;
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Administration or Health, e.g., BAdmin, BSc in Health Administration or in related field e.g., First Nation Health Administration
Three to five years work experience in senior management or related discipline;
Experience in supervising and managing staff; Experience in developing and managing budgets
Knowledge of financial and reporting requirements for ISC; legislation on Canada Labor Code and Employment Law, Occupational Health and Safety, Privacy and Human Rights.
Must have an acceptable Criminal Record Check
