Operating a heavy truck/trailer unit and loader to perform the RMs gravel program during the summer period, normally May to October.  Regular duty requires the employee to maintain and service Trucks and Loader Equipment in accordance with the Group 3 Classification.

Desired Qualifications and Knowledge Base:
Prior knowledge and procedures of heavy truck and loader equipment operation related to proper operation, minor repair and service.
Familiarity with a tri-axle bottom dump trailer or spreading of gravel.
Possess good mechanical and equipment service skills.
Accurately comprehend information from written or verbal instruction
Accurately record and maintain production reports, custom work reports, inventory information, equipment service and repair reports.
Will be approachable and flexible in dealing with members of the public and co-workers to develop and maintain positive work relationships.
Possess a valid Class 1A drivers license with a clean abstract.
Grade 12 education is preferred.
