Job Description
Nipawin & District Forestry Museum needs Summer Students.
Students will work as a team with each other and the Museum Volunteers. They will report to the Facility Chairperson.
The position is full-time from May to August. Starting date will be May 1st.
Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Museum guest services including check-ins
Payment processing
Facility tours with groups
Facility Groundskeeping:
Cut lawn using power or riding mower
Trim around buildings, walks, and

Trim around buildings, walks, and flower beds.
Facility Maintenance:
Clean and disinfect washrooms and kitchen
Take out garbage and recycling
Repair facility equipment as assigned by facility personnel
Signage and painting
Clean out varmint traps as required (mice, squirrels)
Other Duties:
Must be dexterous enough to use various hand and power tools
Must be able to stand, crouch and be on their feet for extended periods to carry out manual labour
Previous experience in ground keeping and maintenance is an asset
Ability to work days and occasional weekends.
