4. Develop effective working relationships with all staff and program participants to ensure a respectful and
positive work environment is achieved.
5. Operate equipment (forklifts, loaders) necessary for loading and unloading materials.
6. Lift and/or transfer supplies and equipment as necessary.
7. Assist in coordination of scheduling and dispatch of company vehicles for confidential paper pick-up.
8. Complete routine maintenance checks on equipment as required; report concerns.
9. Supervise and offer guidance and support that will encourage independence and assist participants in achieving
their personal goals.
10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
11. Participate as an active team member (communication, coverage during staff shortages etc.).
12. Cross-train for other duties/positions as deemed necessary.
13. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence and maintain a driving record that is acceptable to Cosmopolitan
Industries Ltd. Must be bondable. Ability to obtain NAID Certification. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance.
Experience
Experience operating a commercial truck and handling of material preferred. Experience providing supports to persons
with intellectual disabilities is considered an asset.
Physical Demands
Long periods of driving, standing and/or walking may be required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
