Job Description
What youll do: Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and under the supervision of a pharmacists, you will be responsible for:
Preparing, packaging and labeling pharmaceutical products, under the supervision of a pharmacist;
Managing patient profiles, submit insurance claims, pharmacy services to the insurer and resolve payment or coverage issues with payers;
Maintaining prescription records and inventory of medication of pharmaceutical products;

Managing patient profiles, submit insurance claims, pharmacy services to the insurer and resolve payment or coverage issues with payers;
Maintaining prescription records and inventory of medication of pharmaceutical products;
Delivery of medication to patients in town and in some cases out of town; vehicle will be provided if applicable;
Adhere to the Meadow Lake Co-op and government guidelines on asset protection, alcohol and substance policy and proper disposal of medical waste and expired prescriptions;
Provide exceptional customer service that will promote the sale of co-op merchandise in the pharmacy;
Maintain and control the cash register in the pharmacy in accordance with cash handling procedures;
Attend to customer inquiries in person and over the phone;
Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy regulations;
Other duties as assigned.
