The Town of Norquay is seeking dedicated and hardworking individual for the position of Seasonal Public Works Labourer for the summer season, with the potential to transition into permanent, full-time position based on performance and operational needs.
This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to the upkeep and beautification of our community during the Spring & Summer season.
Perform landscaping, grass cutting, road maintenance, cleaning of Campground and Sports ground bathrooms, to ensure the safety and appearance of municipal properties.
Operate and maintain equipment like tractor, lawn-mower, trimmers, and other tools.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Power Mobile Equipment Certificate
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid Class 5 drivers license required
Previous experience in operating various mowers and other grass-cutting equipment is an asset.
Must have steel toe work boots
