Job Description
Clerical Responsibilities
Work collegially with peers in an office setting
Greet students, parents and visitors courteously and direct them to appropriate
personnel
Gather pertinent information and schedule appointments for parent/teacher
interviews
Type letters, memos, examinations, programs and scripts for special events
such as graduation and awards nights
Assist with school opening (fall) and school closing (June) procedures and
correspondence

Assist with telephone duties, processing and preparing mail for courier pick-up
and delivery, duplicating equipment, and utilizing the Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) system on a daily basis
Assign and record Student lockers
Technical Responsibilities
Perform attendance-recording functions and teacher dispatch which may
include document scanning, data input and report printing
Handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
Utilize the MSS and Edsby system to input and maintain student-related data and
to print accompanying reports including attendance entry, student registration,
student demographic information, report cards, student scheduling transactions
Operate and manage all facets of website and Edsby
Manage all aspects pertaining to student cumulative records
Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager and/or Principal
Preference will be given to an individual who has completed at least one year of office education training at a recognized institution or related experience
