Continental Engine Rebuilders is currently seeking an experienced engine machinist or apprentice. The correct machining experience would allow you the opportunity to join our team in a rewarding career in the engine machine shop industry. This position involves all types and brand names of engines which provides a challenge but is very rewarding to the right individual. The opportunity is for full time work in our Regina engine machine shop, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES and KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED.
-Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators etc.
-Procedures for setting up and machining by boring, resurfacing, and honing engine components.
-Have an excellent understanding of gasoline and diesel engine operation.
-Inspect and diagnose repair procedure required.
-Work in and be a contributor to a team.
-Work in an environment where the products and jobs are continually changing.
-Be able to read, understand and follow manuals for specifications and procedures for various types of engines.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
