A large portion of time will be spent monitoring priority waters across the province for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS). Tasks include larval Zebra/Quagga mussel monitoring through the collection of water samples, preparation of samples for analysis, inspection, and decontamination of sampling gear/equipment between sampling events. Adult Invasive Mussel Monitoring surveys, including inspection of docks, shorelines, and rocks at sample sites.
