We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Cozy Nest Care Home in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will provide essential care and support to residents, including seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home-like environment. This role requires a strong commitment to resident-centered care and assisting with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and lifting
- Maintain a clean, safe environment (light housekeeping)
- Engage residents in activities for social and mental well-being
- Monitor and report changes in residents health
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding as needed
- Respect residents rights, dignity, and independence
- Complete documentation and incident reports
- Follow infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:
- Experience in caregiving or senior care
- Dementia care knowledge (asset)
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Physical ability to assist with resident care
- PSW Certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR (required or willingness to obtain)
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening

Licences/Certifications:
- PSW Certification (required)
- First Aid/CPR (preferred)
