BlackPine Services is looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer. This position primarily involves operating a tandem dump truck to support excavation and construction projects. Candidates must also be able to perform physical labor, including shoveling and site clean up when not operating equipment.  Candidates who can operate semi trucks and end dump trailers will be given preference.

This position primarily involves operating a tandem dump truck to support excavation and construction projects. Candidates must also be able to perform physical labor, including shoveling and site clean up when not operating equipment.  Candidates who can operate semi trucks and end dump trailers will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:
-Operate a tandem dump truck to haul materials such as gravel, soil, and aggregates
-Support excavation crews with material transport to and from job sites
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment in good working order
-Follow all safety procedures, site regulations, and traffic laws
-Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
-Assist with general labor duties as needed
-Operate additional equipment when required
-Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset

Qualifications:
-Valid Class 3A and/or Class 1A drivers license
-Experience operating a tandem dump truck (required)
-Experience operating semi trucks and end dump trailers (asset)
-Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Working Conditions:
-Outdoor work in various weather conditions
-Physically demanding environment
-Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak season
