A proudly family owned business, East Garden Restaurant is a leader in family dining in the town of Rosthern.  We offer a buffet style dining experience, and serve both local customers, as well as travellers staying at the Rosthern Hotel  we are located in the same building.
We are seeking a food service supervisor to join our team and help our business grow.  
Job Duties:
Supervise staff in the preparation and service of food
Prepare food order summaries for cooking staff according to orders from off-site catering customers
Supervise and check assembly of outgoing catering orders and ensure timely delivery
Ensure highest quality of product and that an appropriate amount is made
Train staff in preparation and procedures for food preparation and service
Assist in supply ordering and inventory control
May assist in selection and hiring of additional staff
Maintain shift records of food produced and use of supplies
Job Requirements:
Completion of college or university degree or diploma
At least 4 years of experience in a food service setting
At least 4 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
At least 3 years of experience in catering operations
Must be available to work evenings and weekends
Knowledge and expertise with Chinese style foods would be considered an asset
Candidates with local work experience will be given priority.
Compensation:
$18.00/h
Two weeks vacation per year
Position is full time 35hrs/week
Position is permanent/indefinite
This position does not include benefits other than those mentioned herein
