Job Description: Under the general direction of the Manager or designate, provides an accessible, client-centered and integrated approach to basic nursing services for women and their children in the Family Treatment Centre; performs preliminary assessment and identification of needs for clients and children and determines medical interventions and appropriate referrals to medical services as required. This position is a new position as such requires the successful candidate to identify the program needs; and to use creativity and resourcefulness to ensure appropriate and effective client care in the Family Treatment Centre. Integrating nursing services into the Family Treatment Centre will be a key component of the position. As per Section 48 of the Saskatchewan Human Rights code the employer has determined that only female candidates will be accepted for this position.

- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
