Job Description
MLCFA Inc. is looking to fill the position of a Prevention Services Manager. The role is to plan, implement and manage the overall prevention program functions, policies, procedures, and services for Montreal Lake Cree Nation 106A & 106 B communities. While ensuring efficient and effective operations of therapeutic services.

Provide guidance, leadership, and supervision for assigned program areas and projects.

MLCFA Inc. is looking to fill the position of a Prevention Services Manager. The role is to plan, implement and manage the overall prevention program functions, policies, procedures, and services for Montreal Lake Cree Nation 106A & 106 B communities. While ensuring efficient and effective operations of therapeutic services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide guidance, leadership, and supervision for assigned program areas and projects.
Determine needs for additional support services and program's objectives by developing, monitoring, and evaluating services offered.
Be on call after regular working hours periodically to attend to pressing issues.
Create and maintain operating budgets by ensuring program goals are being met and adhering to approved budgets.
Monitor expenses, monthly fiscal reports of appropriate utilization of facility resources and review quarterly with MLCFA Board of Directors.
Provide a healthy and productive work environment that reflects the MLCFA mission statement and values.
Responsible for all decisions relating to department staff.
Provide direction to staff with regards to new applications, case planning and reviews
Assist in the development and monitoring of work plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum diploma in Social Work, Indigenous Social Work or Psychology.
Minimum 2-year experience in a supervisory position.
Extensive Knowledge of maternal and child health issues, particularly as it as it applies to the prevention of disabilities in children.
Not to be actively involved with a First Nations Child & Family Agency and/or Department of Social Services as a client receiving Family Services and /or Child Protection Services.
Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Must be willing to submit a current CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check upon hiring.
Must possess a strong commitment to personal wellness.
