Position Overview
BoviGen Genetic Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day shipping and inventory movement across Canada. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments of genetic material, managing inventory across locations, and ensuring accurate, timely billing.
This position works closely with our distributor network to build strong working relationships, manage inventory levels, coordinate protocol shipments, and handle associated billing. The role also collaborates with our Export & Health Logistics Coordinator to ensure alignment across all logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate domestic shipments of semen and embryos
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, acting as a key point of contact for logistics, inventory, and billing
Coordinate and prepare protocol-based shipments for clients
Work closely with the Export & Health Logistics Coordinator to align inventory, priorities, and shared shipments
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory transfers, and billing activity
Prepare genetics for pickup
Qualifications & Skills
Post-secondary education in agriculture, business, or a related field preferred
Experience in agriculture, livestock, or logistics considered an asset
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Experience with inventory management, logistics, or billing systems is an asset
