Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, this role is responsible for receiving, entering, and confirming customer orders while ensuring accuracy with invoices, returns, credits, warehouse transfers, and buy sheets. The position also provides vacation coverage within the Sales team and addresses customer inquiries

Prairie Meats is seeking a full-time Food Service Sales and Order Clerk to support our Sales team. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, this role is responsible for receiving, entering, and confirming customer orders while ensuring accuracy with invoices, returns, credits, warehouse transfers, and buy sheets. The position also provides vacation coverage within the Sales team and addresses customer inquiries and concerns.  Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in a food-related industry; Grade 12 or GED; customer service experience; strong communication, detail oriented, organization abilities, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; DTEC knowledge is an asset; ability to work independently and as part of a team; availability for staggered 8-hour shifts (starting as early as 4:30 a.m. or ending at 5:30 p.m.)Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
