Gateway Regional Victim Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Program Coordinator to provide leadership and operational oversight for a regional victim services program serving communities across north central and northwest Saskatchewan.
The Coordinator is responsible for staff supervision, program operations, service quality, stakeholder relationships, Board support, reporting, budget oversight, and strategic program development.
This position works closely with RCMP detachments, justice partners, community agencies, and the Board of Directors to ensure high quality, trauma-informed support services for victims of crime and trauma.
Key duties:
- Supervising Assistant Coordinators and administrative staff
- Monitoring client service standards, response timelines, and documentation compliance
- Supporting staff coaching, performance management, and professional development
- maintaining relationships with RCMP, community agencies, and funders
- Preparing reports, operational updates, and planning materials
- Supporting budget oversight, grant reporting, and administrative compliance
- Leading outreach, volunteer development, and awareness initiatives
- Supporting policy development and organizational improvement
This role requires strong leadership, organization, communication, professionalism, and the ability to manage sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- Must pass an Enhanced Reliability RCMP Security Clearance
- Must hold a valid drivers licence have reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout the service region
- Post-secondary education in Human Services, Social Work, Justice Studies, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Experience with confidential/sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
