The RM of Buckland No. 491 is seeking a motivated and organized individual to fill the temporary full-time position of Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) Coordinator.

The RM of Buckland No. 491 is seeking a motivated and organized individual to fill the temporary full-time position of Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) Coordinator.
The successful candidate will coordinate RM projects being funded through the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP). This position will work closely with administration, contractors, consultants, and provincial representatives to assist with project coordination, documentation, reporting, and communication related to disaster recovery initiatives.
This is an estimated full-time term position for a minimum of two (2) months, with the potential for extension depending on project requirements and funding timelines.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating PDAP-related recovery projects and activities
Assisting with project tracking, documentation, and reporting
Liaising with contractors, consultants, and government representatives
Organizing and maintaining project records and correspondence
Assisting administration with timelines, claims, and supporting documentation
Monitoring project progress and helping ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Experience in project coordination, administration, construction, or municipal operations is considered an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Direct experience with the PDAP program is not required. Training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
