    Plan and deliver high quality, developmentally appropriate physical education instruction for Kindergarten through Grade 12, including fundamental movement skills, sport, fitness, outdoor education, and health literacy.

Key Responsibilities
    Plan and deliver high quality, developmentally appropriate physical education instruction for Kindergarten through Grade 12, including fundamental movement skills, sport, fitness, outdoor education, and health literacy.  
    Differentiate programming to meet diverse needs, abilities, and developmental stages, including adaptive PE where required.  
    Integrate Cree cultural practices, traditional games, land based activities, and language where appropriate in collaboration with Elders and community knowledge keepers.  
    Promote student safety, positive behaviour, inclusion, teamwork, and respectful competition through fair and restorative approaches.  
    Organize and supervise intramurals, interschool athletics, tournaments, and extracurricular physical activity opportunities.  
    Assess student learning, track progress, maintain records, and communicate outcomes with students, families, and school leadership.  
    Collaborate with classroom teachers on cross curricular opportunities (e.g., health, science, social studies) and support whole school wellness initiatives.  
    Manage equipment, facilities, risk assessment, and safety procedures for PE and outdoor activities.  
    Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events; support school routines, scheduling, and policy implementation.
